Ray Gillaugh is a retired professional basketball player who gained prominence in the 1990s as a shooting guard. Born on March 14, 1973, in Chicago, Illinois, he played college basketball for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned All-American honors and led his team to the NCAA Tournament. Notable for his scoring ability and three-point shooting, Gillaugh declared for the NBA Draft after his junior year.
Gillaugh was selected in the second round of the 1995 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks.
