Biography
Ray Goff, born on July 19, 1955, is a former professional American football player who gained recognition as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Georgia, where he achieved significant success, culminating in a SEC Championship during the 1980 season. Goff was selected in the 7th round of the 1977 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints.
Throughout his six-year NFL career, Goff played for notable teams, including the New Orleans Saints and the San Francisco 49ers. Although he had limited playing time as a starter, he contributed to the teams' efforts, particularly during critical games.
