Biography
Ray Lewis, born on May 15, 1975, in Bartow, Florida, is a former professional American football linebacker who played his entire 17-season career for the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League (NFL). Lewis attended the University of Miami, where he was recognized as an outstanding collegiate player, earning All-American honors before being selected by the Ravens as the 26th overall pick in the 1996 NFL Draft. His intense playing style and leadership on the field quickly established him as a premier linebacker.
