Ray Schultz, born on November 14, 1976, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his tenure as a defenseman in the minor leagues. Schultz began his junior career in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Saskatoon Blades, where he showcased his defensive skills and physicality on the ice. After a successful junior career, he was drafted in the 7th round, 192nd overall, by the New York Islanders in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft.
Schultz's professional career spanned over a decade, primarily in the American Hockey League (AHL) and the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).
