Ray Sheppard, born on May 27, 1966, in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his scoring proficiency in the National Hockey League (NHL). Selected in the third round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres, Sheppard quickly established himself as a skilled winger with a strong offensive presence.
Throughout his NHL career, which spanned from 1986 to 2001, Sheppard played for several teams, including the Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, San Jose Sharks, Florida Panthers, and New York Rangers.
