Reed Low, born on June 21, 1976, in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his rugged style of play and contributions to the game as an enforcer. He was drafted in the sixth round, 174th overall, by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. Throughout his career, Low played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for teams such as the Blackhawks, the St. Louis Blues, and the New York Islanders.
Low made his NHL debut in the 1998-1999 season and quickly became known for his physical play and the role of a tough, defensive forward.
