Regina Spivey is a retired American basketball athlete known for her versatility on the court and contributions to women's basketball during the 1990s. Born on March 15, 1975, in Atlanta, Georgia, she rose through the ranks of youth basketball leagues before joining the University of Tennessee. During her collegiate career, Spivey was a three-time All-American and played a key role in leading the Lady Volunteers to an NCAA championship in 1997.

After completing her collegiate career, Spivey was selected in the second round of the 1997 WNBA Draft by the Denver Flames. She quickly made an impact in the league with her defensive skills and remarkable passing ability, earning a reputation as a top playmaker.
