Renata Šmekálová, born on March 30, 1969, in Slovakia, is a retired professional tennis player who gained prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Renowned for her powerful groundstrokes and strategic gameplay, she made significant contributions to Slovak tennis during her career.
