Reto Berra, born on January 3, 1987, in Sion, Switzerland, is a professional ice hockey goaltender known for his impressive performances in both the National Hockey League (NHL) and various European leagues. Drafted 106th overall by the Calgary Flames in the 4th round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Berra began his professional career in the Swiss National League, where he developed a reputation for his agility and strong positional play. He gained significant attention for his standout seasons with HC Lausanne and HC Fribourg-Gottéron before transitioning to the NHL.
In the NHL, Berra made his debut with the Calgary Flames during the 2013-14 season, where he emerged as a reliable backup goaltender.
