Éric Bélanger, born on December 16, 1977, in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey player renowned for his contributions to the National Hockey League (NHL) as a skilled center. Bélanger was drafted 83rd overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 3rd round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft and went on to pursue a successful career spanning over a decade. He played for several NHL teams, including the Kings, Atlanta Thrashers, Carolina Hurricanes, Minnesota Wild, and Edmonton Oilers.
