Éric Dazé, born on July 2, 1975, in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec, is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player. Dazé was drafted 2nd overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft after an impressive junior career with the Granby Prédateurs in the QMJHL, where he showcased his scoring prowess. During his time in junior hockey, he was named to the QMJHL First All-Star Team in 1995, highlighting his potential as a top player.
