Riccardo Paletti was an Italian Formula 1 driver born on June 15, 1958, in Milan, Italy. He began his motorsport career in karting before moving to single-seaters, eventually participating in Formula 3 where he gained recognition for his talent. Paletti made his Formula 1 debut in 1980 with the Parma/Osella team, competing in various Grands Prix across several seasons.
