Richard Oster is a former professional American football player who played as a defensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL). Born on September 15, 1985, in Seattle, Washington, Oster attended the University of Washington, where he was a standout player for the Huskies. He entered the NFL Draft in 2007 and was selected in the fourth round by the Green Bay Packers, where he quickly established himself as a key defensive asset.
During his tenure with the Packers from 2007 to 2011, Oster was part of a powerhouse defense that contributed to the team's Super Bowl XLV victory in 2011.
