Biography
Rick MacLeish, born on January 3, 1950, in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, was a professional ice hockey forward. He began his career in the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) with the Kitchener Rangers before being drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the second round of the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft. MacLeish made his NHL debut in 1970 and quickly became known for his scoring ability and offensive contributions.
MacLeish achieved notable success during his tenure with the Flyers, particularly in the mid-1970s. He played a pivotal role in helping the team secure two Stanley Cup championships in 1974 and 1975, showcasing his skill as a key player during one of the franchise's most successful eras.
