Ricky Dobbs, born on January 31, 1988, is a former American football quarterback known for his collegiate success at the United States Naval Academy. During his tenure at Navy from 2006 to 2010, Dobbs became a key player for the Midshipmen, culminating in a standout junior season in 2009 when he led the team to an impressive 10-4 record and an appearance in the Poinsettia Bowl. He finished his college career with 2,700 passing yards and an impressive 30 rushing touchdowns, showcasing his dual-threat capabilities.
In 2010, Dobbs was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent but was later signed by the San Diego Chargers.
