Riki Ellison, born on August 15, 1960, in Christchurch, New Zealand, is a former professional American football linebacker known for his impactful career in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Southern California, where he was an integral part of the team that claimed the 1978 national championship. Ellison was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1983 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers, beginning a successful career that would span over a decade.
