Robert Groppe (born January 12, 1988) is a former professional American football player who played as a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). Groppe was selected in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots after a standout collegiate career at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned All-Conference honors. His combination of size, speed, and catching ability made him a valuable asset on the field, contributing to various offensive schemes.
