Biography
Robert Kron, born on February 27, 1967, in the Czech Republic, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his versatility as a forward. He began his career in the Czechoslovak Extraliga, where he played for HC Zlin and gained recognition for his offensive skills and playmaking ability. Kron's talent eventually led him to the National Hockey League (NHL), where he achieved significant milestones.
Kron was selected 50th overall in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils, marking the beginning of his stint in North America. Over the course of his NHL career, he played for several teams, including the New Jersey Devils, the Hartford Whalers, and the Vancouver Canucks, participating in over 400 regular-season games.
