Robert Picard, born on May 25, 1957, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his contributions to the sport in the late 1970s and 1980s. A left winger, Picard was drafted 15th overall by the Atlanta Flames in the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft after a successful junior career with the Montreal Junior Canadiens. He went on to play for the Atlanta Flames and the Quebec Nordiques in the National Hockey League (NHL), as well as stints in the World Hockey Association (WHA).
