Robert Sanders is a retired professional basketball player known for his impactful career in both the National Basketball Association (NBA) and international leagues. Born on March 15, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, he played college basketball at the University of Florida, where he was a key contributor to the Gators' success, leading them to an NCAA Championship in 2006. Following his collegiate success, Sanders was selected 12th overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers.
