Robin Cole, born on September 11, 1955, in New Mexico, is a former professional American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) primarily for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played college football at the University of New Mexico before being selected by the Steelers in the eighth round of the 1977 NFL Draft. During his tenure with the Steelers, which lasted until 1987, Cole became an instrumental part of the team's defense and contributed to their success in the 1980s.
