Rodney Dupre is a retired professional basketball player, known for his exceptional skills as a shooting guard. Born in 1985 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dupre showcased his talent early by earning All-State honors during his high school career at Baton Rouge High School. He went on to play college basketball at the University of Kentucky, where he became a key player and led the Wildcats to the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen in 2006.
Dupre was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. Over the course of his six-season professional career, he played for several teams, including the Hawks, New Orleans Pelicans, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Dupre was known for his perimeter shooting and defensive abilities, averaging 12.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game during his tenure in the NBA.
