Roger Charles is a former professional basketball player renowned for his explosive athleticism and scoring ability. Born on April 12, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, he developed a passion for basketball at an early age and quickly rose through the ranks in high school, earning All-American honors by his senior year. Charles played college basketball at the University of Kentucky, where he led the team to the NCAA Championship game in 2005 and was named to the All-SEC First Team.
After declaring for the NBA Draft, Charles was selected in the first round as the 15th overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks in 2007. Over his 12-season career in the NBA, he played for multiple teams, including the Mavericks, New York Knicks, and Miami Heat.
