He gained national prominence as a high school standout at New Albany High School, where he led his team to a state championship and earned numerous accolades, including being named a McDonald's All-American in 2018. Langford subsequently committed to play college basketball at Indiana University, where he showcased his talent in the Big Ten Conference.
