Ron Busniuk, born on August 13, 1948, is a former Canadian ice hockey athlete known for his outstanding performance in both junior and professional leagues. He began his career in the 1960s, playing for the Toronto Marlboros in the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA), where he showcased his scoring ability and playmaking skills. Busniuk was selected in the 1970 NHL Amateur Draft by the Detroit Red Wings, marking the beginning of his professional journey in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Throughout his professional career, Busniuk played as a left winger for several teams, including stints with the Detroit Red Wings and the Philadelphia Flyers.
