Ron Gutkowski is a former professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a guard. Born on March 14, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, he developed a passion for basketball at a young age and showcased his talent at St. Joseph's High School. He went on to play college basketball at the University of Illinois, where he was a standout player, earning All-Conference honors and leading his team to multiple NCAA tournament appearances.
After completing his college career, Gutkowski was selected in the second round of the NBA Draft by the New York Knicks in 2007. Over his five-season professional career, he played for several teams in the NBA and overseas, including stints with the NBA Development League and clubs in Europe. Known for his sharp shooting and defensive tenacity, Gutkowski left a significant mark on the teams he played for, particularly during his time with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, where he was named to the All-D-League Second Team.
