Ron Harris, born on June 30, 1942, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, was a professional ice hockey player known for his role as a defenseman in the National Hockey League (NHL). Drafted 38th overall by the Chicago Black Hawks in the 1961 NHL Amateur Draft, he began his professional career in the 1961-62 season.
