Ron Springs, born on November 4, 1956, was an American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) from 1979 to 1985. He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the fifth round of the 1979 NFL Draft after a collegiate career at the University of the Pacific. Springs was known for his versatility as a runner and receiver, contributing to the Cowboys' success during the early 1980s.
