Biography
Ron Trask is a retired professional American football player who played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Born on September 14, 1985, in Gainesville, Florida, Trask attended the University of Florida, where he was a standout player for the Gators, earning All-SEC honors during his collegiate career. He was selected in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.
Throughout his NFL career, Trask played for the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots, appearing in over 100 games and starting in 75 of them. Known for his powerful presence on the defensive line, he recorded 30 sacks, 150 tackles, and several forced fumbles, contributing significantly to his teams' defensive strategies. Trask was recognized for his leadership both on and off the field, being named team captain multiple times.
