Roosevelt Leaks, born on January 31, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas, is a former American football running back who had a notable career in the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football at the University of Texas at Austin, where he showcased his exceptional speed and agility, Leaks was selected in the sixth round of the 1975 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Colts. He quickly became a valuable asset to the team with his powerful running style and ability to perform in high-pressure situations.
Leaks played for the Baltimore Colts from 1975 to 1979 and later had stints with the San Diego Chargers and the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League.
