Roquan Smith is an American football linebacker, born on April 8, 1997, in Montezuma, Georgia. He played college football at the University of Georgia, where he gained national recognition for his exceptional defensive skills and athletic ability. During his tenure with the Bulldogs, Smith earned multiple accolades, including the prestigious Butkus Award, which is given to the nation’s best linebacker, following a standout junior season in 2017.
In the 2018 NFL Draft, Smith was selected by the Chicago Bears with the eighth overall pick, marking the beginning of a promising professional career.
