Russell T. Wilson, born on November 29, 1988, in Cincinnati, Ohio, is an accomplished professional American football quarterback. He played college football at North Carolina State University and later transferred to the University of Wisconsin, where he led the Badgers to a Big Ten Championship in 2011. Wilson was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, becoming the team's starting quarterback and quickly establishing himself as a key player.
