Ruwan Kalpage, born on February 19, 1970, in Sri Lanka, is a former cricketer known for his contributions as a right-arm off-spin bowler and a lower-order batsman. His international career spanned from 1992 to 1999, during which he represented the Sri Lankan national team in both One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Test matches. Kalpage made his Test debut against Australia in 1992 and quickly established himself as a vital member of the squad.

Throughout his career, Kalpage played 17 Test matches, taking 25 wickets and scoring over 400 runs, as well as participating in 49 ODIs with 43 wickets and 541 runs to his name.
