Ryan Kesler, born on August 31, 1984, in Livonia, Michigan, is a retired American professional ice hockey player known for his tenure in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected 23rd overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, where he began his professional career.
