Ryan Nece, born on February 24, 1979, is a former professional American football player who played as a safety in the National Football League (NFL). He was raised in Los Angeles, California, and attended UCLA, where he showcased his skills on the college football team. Nece was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 2002 NFL Draft.
During his six-season career in the NFL, Nece played primarily for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2002 to 2006 and later had a brief stint with the Detroit Lions. He was an essential part of the Buccaneers' defensive lineup that contributed to their Super Bowl XXXVII victory in January 2003. Known for his reliability and ability to make crucial plays, Nece recorded a total of 202 tackles, 5 interceptions, and 2 sacks throughout his professional career.
After retiring from professional football, Ryan Nece transitioned into various business ventures and philanthropic efforts. He founded the Ryan Nece Foundation, dedicated to empowering youth through educational initiatives and personal development programs.
