Ryan O'Callaghan, born on July 19, 1983, in San Jose, California, is a former professional American football offensive tackle. He played college football at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned recognition for his performance and was selected in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. O'Callaghan spent three seasons with the Patriots, contributing to the team's offensive line and participating in Super Bowl XLII.
In 2009, O'Callaghan was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs, where he continued to showcase his skills as a right tackle. He had a brief stint with the Chiefs before retiring from the NFL in 2011, ending his professional playing career after five seasons.
