Ryan Potulny, born on September 5, 1984, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, is a former professional ice hockey forward from the United States. He played college hockey at the University of Minnesota, where he was a significant contributor to the Golden Gophers' success, including winning the NCAA Division I championship in 2002. Potulny was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the third round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
Throughout his professional career, Potulny played for several teams in the National Hockey League (NHL) and American Hockey League (AHL).
