Ryan Wendell, born on March 4, 1986, in Los Angeles, California, is a former professional American football center known for his tenure in the National Football League (NFL). A standout athlete at the University of Fresno State, Wendell earned First-Team All-WAC honors during his college career before going undrafted in the 2008 NFL Draft. He subsequently signed with the New England Patriots as a free agent, where he began to make a name for himself in the league.
