Sahir Gill, born on April 21, 1992, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is a professional ice hockey player known for his skillful play as a forward. He began his junior career in the Western Hockey League (WHL), showcasing his talent with the Portland Winterhawks, where he developed into a noteworthy prospect. His performance in the WHL led to his selection in the fifth round, 134th overall, by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Gill made his professional debut in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the 2012-2013 season.
