Sam Cowart, born on February 26, 1975, is a former professional American football linebacker recognized for his impactful career in the National Football League (NFL). A native of the United States, Cowart played college football at Florida State University, where he excelled and earned All-American honors. He was selected in the second round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills.
