Sam Hentges is an American ice hockey player born on July 26, 1999, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He played junior hockey with the Shattuck-St. Mary's School before advancing to the collegiate level. Hentges competed for the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he made significant contributions to the team's success in NCAA hockey.
During his collegiate career, Hentges was recognized for his scoring ability and playmaking skills, finishing with impressive stats that garnered attention from NHL scouts.
