Sami Lepistö, born on October 17, 1984, in Lahti, Finland, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman known for his versatile skill set and effective play in both domestic and international competitions. Lepistö began his career with his hometown team, Pelicans, before moving to the SM-liiga, where he played for Jokerit Helsinki.
