Sammy Luftspring was a Canadian professional boxer born on May 14, 1916, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He made his professional debut in 1933 and quickly rose to prominence in the lightweight division. Known for his speed and technical skill, Luftspring captured the Canadian Lightweight Championship in 1936 and went on to earn a reputation as one of the top fighters of his era.
