Scott Bjugstad, born on June 2, 1961, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his contributions to the sport in the 1980s and 1990s. A talented forward, he played junior hockey for the Minnesota Golden Gophers before making the transition to the National Hockey League (NHL). Bjugstad was selected 19th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft.
