Scott Matzka, born on May 11, 1978, in the United States, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his agility and scoring ability. A standout at the University of Michigan, he played for the Wolverines from 1996 to 2000, where he helped lead the team to an NCAA Championship in 1998. After his collegiate success, Matzka was selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the 6th round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
