Biography
Scott Mellanby, born on June 11, 1966, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his impactful career in the National Hockey League (NHL). Drafted 42nd overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft, Mellanby made his NHL debut during the 1985-86 season. He became recognized for his rugged playing style and leadership abilities, which contributed to his success on and off the ice.
Mellanby played for several NHL teams over his 17-season career, most notably with the St. Louis Blues, Florida Panthers, and Atlanta Thrashers.
