Sergei Zubov, born on July 22, 1970, in Sverdlovsk, Russia, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman recognized for his exceptional skill and intelligence on the ice. He began his career in the Soviet Union playing for HC Dynamo Moscow before transitioning to the NHL, where he became one of the most respected defensemen of his era.
