Serhii Rebrov, born on June 3, 1974, in Horlivka, Ukraine, is a retired professional footballer who gained notable recognition as a forward during his playing career. He began his football journey at FC Shakhtar Donetsk, before moving to Dynamo Kyiv in 1992, where he cemented his place as one of Ukraine's most celebrated players. Rebrov's time at Dynamo was marked by significant success, including multiple domestic league titles and an appearance in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League in 1999.
Throughout his international career, Rebrov earned 75 caps and scored 15 goals for the Ukraine national team, representing his country in major tournaments, including UEFA Euro 2000 and the 2006 FIFA World Cup. His playing style was characterized by his striking ability and versatility, allowing him to excel at both the club and international levels. After stints with clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and FC Mainz 05, he concluded his playing career at FC Dynamo Kyiv in 2006.
