Shane Doan, born on October 10, 1976, in Halkirk, Alberta, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his long tenure with the Arizona Coyotes in the National Hockey League (NHL). Drafted seventh overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, he transitioned with the team when it relocated to Phoenix in 1996. Over his 21-year career, Doan established himself as a prominent power forward, recognized for his leadership, scoring ability, and tenacious playing style.
