Sharniece Wadlington is a professional basketball athlete known for her exceptional skills as a guard and her leadership qualities on and off the court. Born on June 15, 1996, in Atlanta, Georgia, she quickly rose to prominence during her high school career at Atlanta High School, where she earned All-State honors and led her team to a state championship. Her outstanding performance earned her a scholarship to play collegiate basketball at the University of Tennessee, where she made a significant impact in the NCAA.

During her collegiate career from 2014 to 2018, Wadlington was a standout player, averaging over 15 points and 6 assists per game during her senior year. She helped the Tennessee Lady Volunteers reach the NCAA tournament and was named to the All-SEC First Team in her final season. Her contributions to the team established her as one of Tennessee's most respected athletes, culminating in an appearance at the NCAA Women’s Final Four.
